On the 15th Jan, we celebrated Joash’s full month with beloved family & friends.. Initially, I did not plan to have a party, as it was only 1 week away from CNY (we would have to see all the relatives again, and they have to give ang pao again.. so paiseh rite) but after much deliberation, Kel and I tot we should just go ahead, after all, it is the first time our parents are becoming grandparents.. i guess they would be happy =)
Anyway, i think it is a occupational thingy.. whenever it comes to planning parties… I COME ALIVE!! So once we decided to have the party, i quickly got down to work!
First things first.. the Full-month cakes (inclusive of the traditional red eggs, ang ku kuey, glutinous rice)
I got them from Sweetest Moments..
And, I was very happy with the goods! Pretty packaging and great prompt service! They even printed a personalised card with Joash’s picture and birth details. Awww…
Got mini cupcakes for my colleagues =)
Got very good comments from the relatives too! Happy!
Next, the actual party planning! I’ll let the photos do the talking! (Pics taken with a very pro DSLR, by a not so pro photographer..)
